For more than two decades Vicki has worked with businesses, organizations and governments to create and sustain meaningful communications and marketing strategies. A certified business and personal coach, consultant and trainer, Vicki is an advocate for everyday happiness, mindfulness, and living a passionate and engaged life.
She is the author of #Untrending: A Field Guide To Social Media That Matters, How to Post, Tweet, and Like Your Way to a More Meaningful Life. She is the host of Everyday Happiness: The Pajama Podcasts, blogs at vickimcleod.com, and writes a monthly newspaper column on social media.
Vicki was shortlisted in 2013 by Small Business BC as one of the Top 5 Online Marketers in the province and was an RBC Women of Influence nominee as a Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the Year for 2014 and 2015. In 2014 she was named Business Leader of the Year in her home community of Maple Ridge, B.C.
She is the president of Main Street Communications Ltd, and a founding member of The Social Chicks. In the past three years she has trained and mentored more than 150 businesses province-wide in how to use digital and social media strategies to increase brand reach. She has held management positions in the arts, environmental and economic development sectors.
